Cushing’s Disease Dogs Treatment
Cushing disease book?
My old dog was recently diagnosed with Cushing's disease. There is a book out there called "syndrome Cushing's breakthroughs "by Michael Dole. Here's his website: http://cushingsdiseasebreakthroughs.com/optin.htm Has anyone heard about this book?" I'm not see it listed on Amazon, Barnes and Noble or Borders. I just want to make sure that what is real before giving over my credit card. I was the vet and will cost a lot of money for long, the treatment of stress. Are there any other books out there?
It seems that scare tactics to me. I've never heard of this book, but I'm pretty familiar with Cushing's disease. If memory serves, about 80% of cases of disease Cushing is caused by a pituitary tumor. The others are caused by a functional adrenal mass. Conventional treatment is quite effective given adequately monitored.
